In my opinion the book is very short but very difficult to read because it is very boring. I do not really liked the book but the movie was much better, at first I liked but then I started to like.
The differences between the film and the book:
- Colonel Munro does not die at the hands of Mawa.
- The British officer, Duncan, dies, and is committed to Alice, who he always loved.
- Cora dies, and loves Uncas, not Nathaniel.
- Uncas loves Cora, not Alice.
